JEFF ALLEN GAME PREVIEW: STANFORD at WASHINGTON

In what figures to be the de-facto Pac12 North championship game, the 3-0 No.7 Stanford Cardinal travel
to Husky Stadium in Seattle to face the 4-0 No.10 Washington Huskies. The winner will in essence own a
two game lead in the division and guaranteeing themselves a spot in the conference championship game
if they are able to take care of their own business the rest of the way. The winner would also be in a position
to run the table which would unquestionably put them in the FBS playoffs.

The game opened at UWub -3 with the total of 45. The number has climbed briefly to 3.5 a couple of times
only to have Stanford backers grab the hook and sending it back to -3 with the total down a full point to 44.
Weather should be perfect for the 9:00 PM EST kickoff with the temperature at game time expected to be in
the low 60s.

Obviously when you say Stanford you are talking about last year’s Heisman runner-up Christian McCaffrey.
The No.5 is off to a slow start this year as he is no longer a surprise and the Tree has little else to offer in
the way of an offensive threat and is ranked a horrific No.122 in the country in total passing. The staunch
Cardinal defense has been nails to this point but will have to bring it’s A-game against a big and talented
Washington outfit.

Now in his third year at Washington, Chris Petersen pretty much has his schemes and kids in place to make
his first run at a Pac12 title. The Huskies returned 16 starters including ne on offense with four OL back. Jake
Browning has thrown 14 touchdowns and has been an excellent field general to this point. Myles Gaskin
and Lavon Coleman form a thunder and lightning backfield. The defensive front seven is big and quick and the
best feature of the nations No.2 ranked defense.

McCaffrey had 300 all purpose yards in last year’s game won by the Tree 30-14. The home team is 4-1 SU
and ATS L5 in the series. Stanford is on a 15-5 ATS roll L20 but this bis the second of B2B roadies and this
is a short week plus travel. Not the greatest of spots for Stanford. Washington is 17-9 L26 as a home favorite
and this edition of the Wub is the best we’ve seen in a very long time, Check back at 9:00 AM EST on Friday
at www,vegasscoresandodds.com for a possible play on this game from World Champion  Jeff Allen.
