JEFF ALLEN GAME PREVIEW: WISCONSIN at MICHIGAN STATE
Saturday’s early action features a Big Ten showdown between the No.11 ranked Wisconsin Badgers and
the No.8 ranked Michigan State Spartans. Both teams come in unbeaten but off very different kinds of efforts.
The 3-0 Badgers were in an obvious letdown spot last week in their life and death 23-17 win over upstart
Georgia State. Wisky faces the gauntlet portion of their schedule over the next four weeks with Michigan, Ohio
State and Iowa on deck. The 2-0 Spartans just spanked Notre Dame in South Bend as an eight-point favorite
and could come in flat here. Figure on Dantonio not letting that happen,
Vegas and offshore opened this game at Mich State -6 and 44. Badger and under money has dropped the
number to Michigan State -5 and 42 1/2. The weather in East Lansing should be no factor with cloudy skies
and a game time temperature of 70. There is no rain in the forecast. There has been a time change to 12:00
EST and at this writing will only be shown on DTV 610.
Not only does Wisconsin have a make or break four week run starting here, the Badgers will be at a huge
disadvantage with their three top backs nursing minor dings. Corey Clement (197, 3 TDs) is the biggest
concern with a bum ankle. The Badger defense has been great and is No.13 overall in the FBS and No.14
stopping the run and that having already faced LSU and Leonard Fournette.
Michigan State rolled at Notre Dame in their favorite no chance road dog role. The final score was not
indicative of the game which had Michigan State in control from the end of the first quarter on. .Tyler Connor
came up money in his first road start. at quarterback but might look to go to the air here rather than test a
pretty good Badger front seven.
World Champion Handicapper Jeff has information on this matchup and will release the game on his home
site of www.vegasscoresandodds.com no later than 12:00 PM EST on Friday. Allen feels that this could be one
of the strongest betting weekend of the entire year so don’t miss a play!
