At 19-9 (9-6 Big East) , the Providence Friars are on the bubble and really have no margin of error if they hope to get to the Big Dance. Nice revenge spot for the Friars who dropped a 75-66 decision (+1.5) at Marquette all the way back on January 3rd. Providence was hurt by 17 turnovers that night but they catch Wojo and the Eagles at just the right time as Marquette has lost eight of nine and looks to have mailed it in. The Eagles have lost seven of eight on the road, the last three by 17-8-21. The Friars only have two home wins by 7+ but two back they drilled DePaul by 27 on the road before losing to Villanova in their last. No shame there. The Friars know exactly what is on the line and with Seton Hall and Butler on deck, a win here would but them in good shape to go dancing with a win or two in the Big East tournament. Providence by 15.
