Major injury updates
Lakers:
Wesley Johnson (out Monday, ankle)
Jeremy Lin (shut down season, knee)
Kings:
DeMarcus Cousins (out for season, foot)
Rudy Gay (out for season, concussion symptoms)
The previews for the next three days will be somewhat difficult to write as it is difficult to know a teams real agenda as we head into the final three days of the NBA season. With the Lakers and Kings, we a final home and home between two teams that wish the season was over a month ago. The games are basically mean nothing as neither team can even so much as improve its draft status. The Lakers Wesley Johnson hurt his ankle in last night’s loss to Dallas and will likely be shut down. Jeremy Lin is also done for the year. The Kings have done the same with leading scorers DeMarcus Cousins and Rudy Gay.
The Lakers have lost six of seven with the lone win coming over Minnesota on Friday. The Kings have lost seven of their last eight with the lone win also against Minnesota. The teams have split two games this year, the Lakers winning 98-95 (-3, 209) and the Kings winning here 108-101 (-7.5, 207,5). The Lakers are 7-3 SU and 8-1-1 ATS the L10 in the series. The Lake Show is also 4-1 ATS at the Arco. The Lakers alternated three game runs of three over, three under and three over. Five of the Kings L6 games have gone Over.
